The world has changed in many ways over the past several years, especially due to the widespread impact of the pandemic–largely bad, but with some good. Like the recognition among many companies that many employees can work effectively, and productively, outside of traditional work settings. And the quick growth in access to digital health services, bringing care to people in rural areas who might not otherwise have had such great access.
Content Demand on the Rise
And, for content marketers, like us–especially those specializing in human resource-related content–a dramatic impact in demand for content.
But, it’s not just HR-related content that’s in high demand.
As long as Google continues to favor high quality, original content (and why wouldn’t they?) content marketing will remain a significant factor in the marketing efforts of businesses of all kinds.
Big Benefits From Great Content
Content marketing really offers a two-pronged benefit–it helps with search engine optimization (SEO) and positions organizations/individuals as thought leaders/experts on topics that are relevant to their target audience.
As a content marketer for a number of years now (since 2008 when I started Strategic Communications), I have noted over the past few years, in particular, that the demand for content has continued to grow. I don’t see that diminishing any time soon.
For many businesses, though, that can be challenging.
Feeding the Content Pipeline
Continuing to produce new, unique, high quality, and relevant content can be challenging. This is true not only for small businesses, but also for Fortune 500 firms. In fact, many of our clients are very large organizations with internal marketing departments and writing talent–yet they find themselves needing to outsource content creation because the demands are so great.
That’s good for us and other companies and contractors like us, of course. We hope the demand continues.
If you’re in the need for help with content creation–from social media posts to book-length manuscripts, and everything in between, we can help.
